"Recently I had a procedure done at your hospital. I just wanted to tell you that you have an amazing staff. From the young lady in admissions to the moment I was taken to my car was a remarkable experience.

Before surgery the nurse asked if I liked coffee- of course I said yes, and she had me a cup when I woke up in recovery. Upon returning to my room, I had a nice lunch waiting.

I have been to quite a few hospitals and I will rate this one A+. I love small towns and am so glad I have made a home in Fairfield, TX."

Earlier today, Freestone Medical Center initiated a precautionary lockdown in response to a reported safety concern. Our staff immediately activated established protocols, and local law enforcement quickly secured the facility.
The situation was resolved without incident, and the hospital has since resumed normal operations. At no time were patients or staff harmed.
We thank our employees for their professionalism and the Fairfield Police Department and Freestone County Sheriff’s Office for their swift support. The safety of our patients, staff, and community is always our top priority.
