Round, chewy, naturally gluten-free, and perfect with fresh fruit. I always cook enough to last at least 5 days.

Sorghum.

Why I love it:
• Gluten-Free: Great for those with sensitivities.
• Rich in Fiber: Supports digestion and helps you stay full longer.

Thanksgiving recap.
After a real vegan Thanksgiving lunch, we managed to get a hike in before heading to New York City for a “traditional” family dinner at a Chinese restaurant. 🙂🥢🥡🥠

Part of the visit included taking in the incredible view from the rooftop—26 floors up!

And afterwards… another classic New York experience: piles of garbage lining the streets. Oh well.

Still, I’m thankful for every single day on this amazing planet.
I hope you all had a wonderful time with your families and friends as well!

“Shifting from animal foods to plant foods was associated with weight loss — even when some plant foods were less healthy.”

A new Frontiers in Nutrition study compared a Mediterranean diet with a low-fat vegan diet.

After 16 weeks, the vegan group lost 6.0 kg (13.23 lbs) — while the Mediterranean group saw no change. Most of the loss came from fat mass and visceral fat, not muscle or water.

Plant-based diets are naturally higher in fiber and lower in calorie density, helping people feel full and satisfied without restriction.
