Our Story

Horizon Speech Therapy Services was founded in 1998 and has been providing services for children and adults throughout New Jersey. The owner, Susan Rothschild, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a certified and state-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with close to 30 years of experience. What makes us unique is that we go above and beyond traditional speech therapy, and specialize in oral-motor/ feeding/ tongue-ties, and tongue-thrusts. We provide comprehensive evaluations and individualized therapy, for babies, kids & teens; as well as specialized services for adults with speech, and tongue-tie-related speech and feeding issues. You have the choice of online Teletherapy services, or in-person services at our office, located in Hackensack, NJ - easily accessible from local roads and most NJ highways.

We understand that when someone is experiencing a difficulty with their speech or eating, it no only affects the individual but can also affect the family as a whole. It can impact daily routines and adds stress. Let us show you how to reduce that stress.
