Here’s a fall reminder: Connection grows when we invite conversation instead of quiz for answers.

Declarative language helps children feel understood, not tested which opens the door to richer, more natural conversations. Small changes like reframing questions can help open the door for big connections.

Here at Good Talking People we don’t only work with our clients, we believe in a family based therapeutic approach with the last 10-15 devoted to parent/caregiver education so concepts can be generalized in the home, classroom, work, and/or community.
