We loved seeing our residents spend a joyful afternoon crafting with Yira—sharing smiles, creativity, and meaningful time together.
The opportunity to connect and express themselves made the afternoon even more special. One resident sweetly shared, “I’m not creative, but I love spending time with everyone—it’s fun.”

We would like to recognize and sincerely thank Janet Post, MSN, RN, NC-BC, NBC-HWC, CHt, Community Outreach Nurse from the Center for Healthy Living at Holy Name Hospital, for the incredible time, effort, and heart she poured into the many educational health lectures she provided for our residents.

Over time, our residents truly grew to love Janet—not just for her knowledge, but for her warm presence and special kind demeanor. She is not only a fantastic nurse, but a deeply caring professional with an even bigger heart, and that showed every single time she walked through our doors.

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming Janet for one final visit, where she led a thoughtful and engaging session on ways to manage stress, sharing practical techniques to lower stress levels—tips we could all certainly use. While we will miss her visits dearly, we are so grateful for the lasting impact she has made on our community. Thank you, Janet, for everything you’ve given to us 💙Janet, we wish you continued success and happiness on your next adventure. Thank you for everything!

We are so grateful for the Girl Scouts who visit us on various occasions to share smiles, kindness, and creativity with our community 💚 Their time with us has included friendship visits, nail polish hours, coloring and arts & crafts, cookie sales, and so many other thoughtful activities that bring joy to our residents. These meaningful connections truly brighten our days and remind us how powerful intergenerational friendships can be. Thank you, Girl Scouts, for all that you do!
