FREE private Movie Event for families on an autism journey!
Going to the movies can be a fun family activity that families with a child/adult on spectrum miss out on. Sensory over load, sitting still for a long time, worried about disrupting other movie goers experience, paying for everyone's ticket but not making it through the previews....all the sudden the movies are a family outing you don't even attempt any more! We are happy to provide the ticket fee and a judgement free opportunity to practice going to the movies! Registration is REQUIRED! Please email autismgraceoflenawee@gmail.com with the name and age of your family member that is on spectrum and how many seats you would like to claim for your party. (parent and siblings included)

School pictures have always come with a sting for our Executive Director. "I see everyone post sweet school pictures of their kids. I even get a nice picture send home of our neurotypical son but even after re-takes, we have a hard time getting a good picture of our child with autism."

Having your picture taken can cause anyone anxiety! Now add sensory overload and rushing to get pictures of hundreds of kids in one day on school picture day....it isn't a great fit for our families. Autism GRACE of Lenawee is providing a FREE 15 minute private session with our photographer. With a little extra time, space helping hands and patience we hope to catch a great picture of your loved one to be displayed in your home and shared with friends and family. The picture will be emailed with a printing release after the event
