With a new year comes some changes for me. I made the bittersweet decision to leave my primary CST practice in Tecumseh after 4+ years.
It is bitter because I love CranioSacral Therapy. Providing CST to others has shown me things I didn’t think were possible. Receivng CST myself has helped me on a personal level in such a profound way that I can't accurately articulate it all. I will miss working in downtown Tecumseh in the beautiful, historied building that Inner Wisdom is in. Last but not least, I will miss working alongside 2 great women- Allison and Sadie. They have been exceptionally great to work with. I am so thankful Allison offered a room to the random, 6 months pregnant PT that she met at Appleumpkin.
It is sweet because this will allow me to be more present at home. I blinked and my babies are already almost 6 and almost 4. I want to miss as little as possible so I am simplifying with my new career goals in mind: consistent income, consistent but minimal hours to allow me to focus more on my most important role of being a mom, and continuing to help others. To do this, I will be working part-time providing PT services with employers that have been extremely flexible with scheduling to allow me to find more work-life balance.
In conclusion, to those that have supported me- whether it be trusting me and allowing me to share this beautiful work with you and/or your children, supporting me as a colleague, teaching me, interacting with social media posts, sending positive vibes, or even bothering to read this entire post- thank you!!!!
Onward to the next part of my journey, wherever that may lead!
