James Reichenbach has hit the foundation of ‘farmers market’ on the proverbial head.💚 A markets heart is the summation of each vendors heart, and the motivation behind what they do while at home, and through their talents, to bring that love to their community. Broadway Farmer’s Market, and Broadway Chapel and Venue feel extremely privileged to know each and every vendor family, that makes our farmer’s market a HOME. ✨☝️🥰
I started showing up at the Broadway Farmers Market on Sundays for practical reasons… a good place to meet locals, hand out Homefront: Pottawatomie County, you know, community engagement.
But something happened.
It stopped being a thing I did and became a thing I actually look forward to. And I think I finally get why.
Watch the vendors at this market. Nobody's trying to undercut each other. Nobody's hoarding customers. It's actually the opposite - they're genuinely rooting for one another. Families bringing kids. People who know each other by name. Real conversations.
This is what community looks like. This is what most places don't have anymore.
I'll be there this Sunday, 11am-3pm, with free copies of Homefront. But more than that you should come see it for yourself. Come feel what it's like when a market is actually *about* people, not just transactions. You'll recognize faces. You'll leave feeling like you're part of something.
That's the Broadway Farmers Market.
Sunday. 11am-3pm. You belong there.
