Hate to be dilated? We now offer non-dilated retinal screenings!
We use state of the art technology to get a wide view imaging of the back of your eye without having to dilate your pupils.
The enlarged view allows detection of eye diseases and provides permanent record of your eye which can be compared side-by-side over years to come. Great for all ages!
Let us know you are interested in this valuable offer for an additional $39 at time of your exam.

- We are keeping the front door locked so if you need assistance or need to make an appointment please call before you come
- We are requiring patients over the age of 5 to please wear a mask while in the office

We missed everyone! We are back open for routine eye care. Appointments are booking up quick so give us a call!

04/09/2020

Given the CDC recommendation to halt routine eye care our office will be closed for routine eye care needs.

If you have an appointment that needs to be rescheduled and need assistance to extend a prescription or need an extra set of contact lenses to last until we are able to open for normal business, please call our office at 803-802-4733.

We will continue to follow developments on the coronavirus and adjust accordingly, but unfortunately foresee this closure to be extended until May.

We will be open for urgent care needs and you can call the office to talk with a staff member or call the afterhours phone number for assistance.

We also have the opportunity to do telemedicine appointments (Skype, Facetime, or telephone) for medical issues that can typically be billed through medical insurance. Medicare has relaxed its telehealth rules to allow this type of communication during the pandemic crisis. This type of consultation must be initiated at your request.

We are urging our patients to contact us with any medical eye issues instead of going to the ER or urgent care to reduce exposure.

For ocular emergencies call the office at 803-802-4733 or 803-240-2698.

I truly miss my patients and hope that we are able to get back to some sort of normal soon!

Thank you,
Dr. Brown

Amidst all the concern about the COVID-19 pandemic, we here at Tega Cay Eye Care are following the latest developments.
With the ever-changing news reports about the coronavirus, it is understandable to feel concerned and maybe a bit anxious about it.

The health, safety, and well-being of our patients and staff, as well as the individuals who share our office space inside Wal-mart, drives our decisions as a professional office who provides medical care to our patients. We have been implementing and taking precautionary measures of the recommended cleaning and disinfecting process in our office.

As health care professionals, we believe it is our duty to remain open during this pandemic to provide medical and vision care for those who are due for an examination in a controlled setting that minimizes potential exposure. As a small organization, we have the ability to quickly and easily modify our work practices to take into account the most current advice concerning the spread of COVID-19.
We will continue to follow the latest developments and make changes we feel necessary to keep the safety of everyone in our best interest.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us at 803-802-4733.
The symptoms of this virus are similar to other respiratory illnesses like the flu (fever, cough, fatigue, and shortness of breath). If you have recently traveled outside of the area and/or are feeling ill please call the office to reschedule your appointment.

Sincerely,
Dr. Amy Brown
