Amidst all the concern about the COVID-19 pandemic, we here at Tega Cay Eye Care are following the latest developments.
With the ever-changing news reports about the coronavirus, it is understandable to feel concerned and maybe a bit anxious about it.
The health, safety, and well-being of our patients and staff, as well as the individuals who share our office space inside Wal-mart, drives our decisions as a professional office who provides medical care to our patients. We have been implementing and taking precautionary measures of the recommended cleaning and disinfecting process in our office.
As health care professionals, we believe it is our duty to remain open during this pandemic to provide medical and vision care for those who are due for an examination in a controlled setting that minimizes potential exposure. As a small organization, we have the ability to quickly and easily modify our work practices to take into account the most current advice concerning the spread of COVID-19.
We will continue to follow the latest developments and make changes we feel necessary to keep the safety of everyone in our best interest.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us at 803-802-4733.
The symptoms of this virus are similar to other respiratory illnesses like the flu (fever, cough, fatigue, and shortness of breath). If you have recently traveled outside of the area and/or are feeling ill please call the office to reschedule your appointment.
Sincerely,
Dr. Amy Brown
