Another tasty discovery 😋 Chiques Chocolate by .ainsworth Handmade chocolate made with hand roasted cacao … and it’s sugar free 🤩 Sweetened with my favorite monk fruit sweetener.

This Holiday season was not very keto friendly, but that’s okay. Having a little break actually can help. Our body adapts to every dietary changes after a while, so it’s good to mix things up.

Have you ever tried bone broth fasting? I haven’t and decided to give it a go!

Made my own beef bone broth with some veggies and spices, which I have slow cooked for 36h.

You can cook it less, minimum of 12h though. You can also buy some. Just check the ingredients make to sure it’s a proper bone broth.

After it’s ready you can start your bone broth fast. You can do it for a day or longer, depending how you feel during. I’d recommend starting small (24h) and gradually extending to 3-5 days.

During your bone broth fast you will be consuming 3-5 of 12 ounce servings per day. If you are starving you can up your intake.

You are also allowed to drink calorie free beverages, like water, unsweetened tea or coffee.

A very concerning results of a study published in the medical journal JAMA. “Two-thirds — or 67% — of calories consumed by children and adolescents in 2018 came from ultra-processed foods, a jump from 61% in 1999”.

That means excessive carbohydrate intake, highly inflammatory processed fats and lack of nutrients. It equals a recipe for a disaster and a development of chronic illness at early stages of life.

Many of us would like to eat better, but are not sure how to do that. They are afraid that they do not have enough cooking skills, that healthy ingredients are to expensive or they are simply lacking ideas for healthy meals.

Eating healthy does not need to be complicated, time consuming or stressful and does not need to be expensive either. If we spend a little bit time on organisation and preparation we can easily create a healthy meal plans on a budget.
