Yesterday's perfect weather set the scene for the unveiling of the new Clubhouse for Lutheran Community at Telford's Summerfield cottage neighborhood. Residents, staff and project stakeholders filled the space for a morning of fellowship and connection throughout the Ribbon Cutting ceremony with our Senior Leadership Team and Executive Board. We can't wait to share how our residents will be enjoying this stunning space in the near future!

On this 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑫𝒐𝒈 𝑫𝒂𝒚, Grace Inspired Living is thrilled to introduce Durkin, Lutheran Community at Telford’s newest “resident!” 🐕

Durkin is a 2-year-old, standard female poodle brought to us in partnership with Tails of Valor Paws of Honor Program, Inc., which first began providing service dogs for veterans suffering from PTSD and other lasting effects of the line of duty. LCT has become part of Tails of Valor’s new pilot program called “Community Canine,” sponsoring certified therapy dogs for senior living communities like ours. Stay tuned TOMORROW for the full annoucement, which will reveal more about Durkin’s unique name and her new role on campus! We will update this post with the link and also share it in the comments below. ⬇️

Our team has thoroughly enjoyed watching residents’ faces light up when they see Durkin coming to greet them, and we can’t wait to see what on-site adventure she gets into next!

Did you attend Perkasie Borough's Under the Stars Car Show on Saturday? 🚙 If so, you may have seen our awesome Residency Counselors, Cathy (right) and Melody (left). During this fun-filled networking opportunity, they met the local father-son duo pictured here whose father/grandfather was once a part of the Rockhill family! Together, they restored this 1967 Ford Mustang Sports Sprint Coupe to its original condition in 2023. You can read their full story in the last image shared below 👇🏻 What a pleasant surprise to find that this chance meeting came so full-circle!

Lutheran Community at Telford is buzzing about the art sale going on as of yesterday through the end of the month! Talented artists under our very own roof have generously donated these pieces to benefit the community's Benevolent Fund after being purchased by their resident peers or even staff. A canvas gets taken right off the wall, the new owner's donation amount added to an envelope on the back of the artwork and taken straight to our Director of Development to seal the deal. We are blown away by the sheer volume of revolving stock—as frames come down, more go up!
