✨ Meet Terissa our Assistand Director of Health Services . ✨
Terissa has been a nurse for 5 years. When asking her favorite thing about Oakwood here is what she had to say, "The family oriented atmosphere. From the residents, residents families, staff, management & support. It truly feels like home away from home. Everyone supports the highs & lows and you cannot find that just anywhere. I love Oakwood because I get to give back to my hometown and so many residents that have shaped the way for us. Being a part of the Oakwood Family is something I take pride in & look forward to many more years".

We had the honor of assisting Jenny as she embarked on the 2025 Honor Flight. This unforgettable journey allowed her to visit the memorials dedicated to the brave men and women who served our country. Jenny was accompanied by her nephew Paul, and together they enjoyed a meaningful and memorable experience. We are grateful for the opportunity to support her in participating in such a special event. .

Tacos 🌮, great company, and lots of laughs 😆 . It's always a good time when our Legacy crew goes out and about. Thanks to Fiesta Grande for always providing amazing service and delicious food to our residents during our visits.

🦃 Thanksgiving time is almost here. Here at Oakwood our annual Hope for the Holidays is in full swing. Our Goal is to provide a Thanksgiving meal to 10 families this year, but would love to give more! Any nonperishable food items that you can donate, please bring them to our Health Center entrance. Any donations will be greatly appreciated.

On Monday, November 17th, Oakwood Health Campus invites the public to attend a Virtual Dementia Tour at the campus. This event provides a unique opportunity for individuals and organizations to increase their understanding of Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia through an enlightening and immersive experience. Limited reservations are available between 8:00am and 3:00pm. For additional information or to make a reservation, please contact Vanessa or Traci at (812) 547-2333.

Our residents and staff had a spooktacular time getting creative for this year’s Annual Pumpkin Decorating Competition! From funny faces to frightfully fabulous designs, every pumpkin was a masterpiece.
