Your body is constantly working behind the scenes to keep things balanced.
One of the systems responsible for that is your lymphatic system — a network of vessels and nodes that helps move fluid, filter waste, and support your immune response.
Unlike your circulatory system, it doesn’t have a pump.
It relies on movement, breathing, and overall health to keep things flowing.
When that flow becomes sluggish or overwhelmed, it can start to show up in subtle ways.
You might notice:
• swelling or fluid retention
• puffiness (especially in the face, abdomen, or limbs)
• a feeling of heaviness or congestion
• slower recovery after illness, travel, or stress
• areas that don’t quite respond to traditional massage
Over time, when the body isn’t clearing fluid and waste efficiently, it can contribute to inflammation, discomfort, and that general feeling of being “off” in your body.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a gentle, intentional way to support this system — helping guide fluid where it needs to go and encouraging your body back into a more natural rhythm.
This isn’t about forcing anything.
It’s about working with your body, not against it.
I’ve recently completed training in this work and will be offering it soon.
If your body has been feeling a little heavier, puffier, or just not quite like itself, this may be a really supportive addition to your care.
