🐻❤️ Why I Wrote ”Beary the Brave: Learning to Help” ❤️🐻

As a CPR and First Aid instructor, I’ve spent years teaching people how to stay calm, help others, and respond during emergencies.

I’ve also had the privilege of working with youth and scouting programs as a First Aid instructor and A Scouts BSA First Aid Merit Badge Counselor — and I’ve seen firsthand how capable kids can be when they’re taught confidence, kindness, and helping skills early.

That inspired me to create “Beary the Brave: Learning to Help”.

I wanted to create more than just a children’s book. I wanted to create a story that encourages courage, compassion, teamwork, and helping others when it matters most.

Because future lifesavers start somewhere ❤️
