Our Story
In 2015, a group of doulas came together as the Temecula Valley Doulas (TVD) with the intent to educate the Temecula Valley about the many benefits of birth doulas and postpartum doulas. We created a website, so parents could find information about them in addition to finding a listing of local professionals.
We quickly decided that we wanted to unite the entire community of birth professionals, in addition to reaching parents. There are so many different fields pertaining to childbirth, and we had learned that many parents didn’t know about the various resources available to them. Thus, we reached out and added “Other Birth Professionals” to our membership.
In 2017, our members decided to officially expand our organization and become the Temecula Valley Birth Network. This took some time, but as 2018 rolled in, we began transitioning to our new name and new website.
We are so excited to unveil our “new” organization and to continue to serve, educate, and empower our community throughout the childbearing years.
