Our OR Surgery Waiting Room volunteers were touched by an unexpected gesture of kindness from the ACU Cardiac Team. They were greeted with beautiful poinsettias, delicious sweet treats, and heartfelt cards of gratitude.

For our volunteers, this moment was a reminder of how much their efforts matter—helping operations run smoothly and providing comfort to patients and families during what can be a stressful time. The appreciation shown by the ACU Cardiac Team made them feel valued and recognized for the important role they play every day.

We are grateful for the collaboration and compassion that make our hospital community so special.💜

Last week, three of our board members, Steffani, Sheri, and Kathy, attended the Chamber Member Appreciation evening at Europa Village Winery! We are so blessed to be part of a community like Temecula where these events are common, and business relationships blossom. Thank you to the Temecula Chamber!

One of the traditions we do at our holiday parties is the awarding of service hour pins. This is a fun way to commemorate everyone’s service to our foundation starting at 100 hours, all the way to an impressive 4,000 hours! For our recognition pictures, we start with 100 hours and move through them consecutively.

For our 100 hour recipients, we have Liz Barclay, Rick Barrera, Stef Becerra, Ellen Ender, David Samy, Steve Gossett, Navaeh Gray, Linda Greer, Josie Guerra, Herminia Mendoza, Shelby Middleton, Nancy Obenberger, Lynne Peterson, Natalia Salciccia, and Violet Williams.

For 300 hour recipients, we have Maureen Bodine, Diane Brotea, Stephanie Cannon, Terri Gorman, Amanda Gromko, Ana Mayen, Aidan Mole, Steffani Natter, Sonia Parande, Ashley Robertson, and Sherri Warren.

For 500 hour recipients, we have MaryLou Baird, Chip Dale, Kara Egger, George Greer, Matthew Owens, and Tom Troyer.

For 1,000 hour recipients, we have Michael Bradley, Larry Cooley, Karen Hansen, Donna Simpson, Lori Soringo, and Elayne Vanesse.

At 1,500 hours, we have Mark Devilbiss and Dan Watt.

At 2,000 hours we have Johnnie Francis.

At 2,500 hours we have Juergen Buescher.

And at a whopping 4,000 hours we have Tricia Pedersen, who works tirelessly in our spiritual care department.

A big, big thank you to every volunteer who donated their valuable time this year. We wouldn’t be a volunteer foundation without our volunteers after all! Happy holidays!💜🎄

We recently held our TVHVF Holiday Party! It was a night filled with smiles, laughs, raffle prizes, games, and our very own Santa Claus! This event was so graciously paid for by TVH, held at the gorgeous Mexico Cafe.

Our 2026 board was also announced at this gathering. Tears were shed as our outgoing President, Sheri Mako, received her gracious send-off from our Liaison, Jayde Glenn. Sheri has done an incredible job these past 3 years, turning our foundation into an official nonprofit organization. She has worked countless hours tirelessly to upkeep our foundation, all with a smile on her face. She’s not going anywhere, however! She will be serving as the VP of Events for our foundation for the next two-year term. Sheri welcomes in Steffani Natter, our upcoming Board President for the 2026-2028 term. We also would like to welcome Karen Hansen, our new Secretary. Kathy Parkes remains our Treasurer and Jean Mitry remains our VP of Pet Therapy. We are excited for these ladies to keep doing their great work with our foundation!

We also had tons of raffle prizes being given out throughout the night, from gift cards to wine tastings! A couple games were also played together where we let our competitive sides out.

Overall, a wonderful night to celebrate our Foundation during this season of love, peace, and gratitude! Cheers and happy holidays to all!💜🎄☃️
