🌿 You’ve heard of LI-4… but have you heard of GB-41? 🌿
Most people know LI-4 as a go-to acupressure point for stress and headaches — but when it comes to temporal (side-of-the-head) headaches, GB-41 (Zu Lin Qi) is a powerful companion point you can use at home.
✨ Where is GB-41?
GB-41 is located on the top of the foot, in the groove between the 4th and 5th metatarsal bones — basically between your 4th and 5th toes, but slightly closer to the ankle.
✨ How to Use It for Acupressure:
Sit comfortably and cross one foot over your knee.
Press GB-41 with your thumb or knuckle.
Hold or massage in slow circles for 1–2 minutes, then switch sides.
Keep your breathing slow, soften your jaw, and relax your temples.
✨ Why GB-41?
In acupuncture theory, GB-41 helps soothe the Gallbladder channel, which travels along the side of the head and temples. Stimulating this point can help ease temporal headaches, eye tension, and stress-related head discomfort.
