Allergies aren't always on file. In a 2016 study, 1 in 4 children who experienced a severe allergic reaction in school requiring epinephrine did not have a previously diagnosed severe allergy.

Seconds matter during an anaphylactic reaction - that's why ODRescue™ is supporting emergency preparedness by offering epinephrine in our kits. That way your team can respond quickly and confidently during medical emergencies. Learn more at www.ODRescue.com.

When every second counts, ODRescue™ Alert does more than hold life-saving tools; it helps coordinate a response.

Opening the unit triggers an audible alarm to attract nearby bystanders, while the alerting technology sends smart notifications to emergency responders. Libraries, commons, dorms, and athletic centers benefit from fast visibility and faster action. See how can fit into your campus safety plan at www.ODRescue.com.

As we step into 2026, we're energized and grateful for the progress that's been made against the opioid epidemic the past year. Georgia is taking bold action and moving to equip all 2,300+ public schools with overdose response kits by spring 2026. HHS is committed to investing $1.5B in State and Tribal Opioid Response grants, helping more communities get the support they need.

In 2025, we also doubled down on preparedness: we launched ODRescue™ Alarm and Alert for faster, tech-enabled response, we stood with families at the United Against Fentanyl's Walk for Lives, and expanded partnerships with national organizations like the Rotary Club to make life-saving tools visible and within reach in our communities.

Here's what we built together in 2025 - and a peek at how we're expanding ODRescue in 2026: https://okt.to/hadt93

Begin the new year with a safety-readiness refresh: finalize a spring emergency-response map, schedule 15-minute micro-drills for RAs and student leaders, and verify seals and expiration dates of opioid reversal agents.

ODRescue™ can help standardize the readiness process with what to place and how to keep it ready, so that students' first week back is safer for everyone. Make "Safety First" more than a slogan in 2026 with ODRescue: www.ODRescue.com

In opioid-induced respiratory distress, irreparable brain injury can begin in about 4 minutes - sometimes long before an ambulance arrives on the scene. That small window is why campuses need visible, accessible response tools.

Seconds matter; placement and reaction matter more. Put rapid response within arm's reach with ™ at www.odrescue.com.

Wishing our partners in safety a safe, restorative Happy Holidays. As students and staff enjoy the winter break and travel, remember the basics:
- Know the signs of an emergency
- Keep tools accessible
- If not immediately accessible, know where to locate tools and/or help if needed

If you or someone you know struggles with substance abuse and needs help, there are resources available. ODRescue™ provides direct access to a comprehensive directory of accredited programs, crisis helplines, and harm reduction resources: https://okt.to/QkP6s0

Always remember: administer naloxone and call 911 immediately if a person exhibits any opioid overdose symptoms.

Preparedness means being ready at a moment's notice. The ODRescue™ Pouch puts essential emergency tools in a compact, on-the-go format, perfect for RAs, campus police, coaches, field trips, and event staff. Lightweight and ready when needed, the ODRescue Pouch extends your safety lattice beyond fixed locations, so trained staff can respond on the bus, at away games, or during late-night events.

Fentanyl risk isn't "someone else's" problem, or even just a high school/college issue. It's a risk that's showing up in middle schools, too.

On December 11 in Moorhead, MN, police detained a 13-year-old middle school student and seized roughly 1,500 suspected fentanyl-laced pills after a classmate spoke up. Field tests were positive with final lab confirmations pending.

This is a sobering reminder: fentanyl risk spans all ages. That's why ™ works to partner with schools to educate staff and students about fentanyl poisoning and opioid overdoses, and to equip campuses with the tools to act when seconds count. It's not a question of "if" this can happen to your campus; it's a question of "when it does, is your campus equipped to respond?"

Fentanyl risk isn't limited to "one kind" of drug. Counterfeit v**e cartridges, powders, and edibles can all be laced with small but dangerous amounts of fentanyl.

Polydrug exposures complicate recognition and response, which is why education and immediate access to emergency response tools are essential across libraries, dorms, and athletic centers.

Prepare your campus with training, clear signage, and ODRescue™ placements wherever students gather. Learn more: www.ODRescue.com.

Rotary's Project SMART® is putting overdose education and response front and center - and they're bringing the ODRescue™ Box into club meetings to show how communities can act when seconds count. Retired paramedic, ACLS instructor, and Rotary's North America chapter leader Larry Kenemore put it plainly, "AEDs save lives... and this [ODRescue Box] is something that needs to be put around communities to save lives."
