Deb’s Sunday Blog (5-24-26)

Greetings from YFL!!! My answer to the question would be to ‘Breathe deeply, move peacefully, and live in the present moment’. How about you?!!!
It is ‘Classic Hatha’ week!!! Our practice will will emphasize Power + Vinyasa (Flow). This week’s Sanskrit focus is ‘Sarvam Mangalam’, ‘May all things be good’!!! Our mudra (hand gesture) focus is ‘Ushas’, or to connect to all things good.
Our weekly Yin practice is ‘Spinal Bliss’, and it will work the full range of motion of the spine. We will back bend, forward bend, twist, and lateral bend with additional movement, and poses between.

* We are open on 5/25 for classes!!!
* Wendy’s classes will NOT meet this week 5/25-5/30!!!
* 6/8-Join Deb for ‘Mindfulness Meeting Monday’from 9:15-9:30 a.m.
* Join Deb on her YouTube channel each Sunday for a free, guided meditation!!! This week’s Sankalpa is ‘Sarvam Mangalam’, May all things be GOOD!!!

Deb’s Sunday Blog (5-17-26)

Greetings from YFL!!! Welcome to ‘The timeless teachings of the mind, body, and heart’. This week’s asana practice is ‘Meet me @ The Wall’!!! We use the wall as a prop of focus, alignment, and resistance!!! Our Sanskrit focus is ‘’Avadhana’ for promoting active attention, mental focus, and mindfulness. Our weekly mudra (hand gesture) is ‘Jhana’ for anchoring the present moment. We will also practice the 4-7-8 breath technique to promote present moment awareness.
This week’s Yin practice is ‘Happy Hips’, and will serve to stretch, and release tension in this major body joint.

* 6/8-Join Deb for ‘Mindfulness Monday’ , and experience a guided group meditative meditation from 9:15-9:30 a.m.
