Rettland Foundation

Rettland Foundation Helping families that are required to travel to participate in clinical research for Rett Syndrome. This broke our hearts.

A few months ago it came to our attention that the two clinical trials were having a hard time with enrollment. We heard stories of families that wished they could participate but their daughter didn't meet the criteria. We heard stories of families that would participate but didn't have the resources for all of the required travel. The Rettland Foundation was birthed out of listening to all of those families. Our goal is to make participation less of a burden. We want to have a way for people to help get their sister, friend, daughter, neighbor to treatment so that we can all be stronger for it.

Our hearts have been heavy as we sit with the news that a precious child has passed while bravely participating in research for Rett Syndrome. We have always sought to support the families making the research happen and this is no time to stop. For those of you interested in supporting the family, we hope to a bridge in this difficult time.

A letter from Colleen, our founder I sit writing this at a time that our community is broken hearted. One of the heros enrolled in a clinical trial for Rett Syndrome has passed away. This of course brought me back to the day that our Claire passed in 2021. While that day had been the most …

A cup of coffee or a dinner can go a long way when you are tired in rettland and we hope to bring a little light through this effort, thank you for joining us!

Hello again! We’ve been busy supporting many families as they come and go from study sites across the country and haven’t gotten to social media for a bit.

While some studies have paused enrollment, others have not. In fact, multiple studies are rolling into open label extensions. There’s a lot still happening - which is why we need your help. At this time, we’ve had to pause sending out care packages, but now more than ever, we want to be putting good into the world.

We still want to send some extra love to those bravely participating in research for Rett syndrome So we are asking for your help. While we are all adjusting to spending time at home, we’d be honored if you would take a few minutes to write a note of encouragement or appreciation that we could pass on to these research heroes. Colored pictures work too! Please no personal information such as phone numbers or last names. Mail to Rettland Foundation PO Box 1282 Temecula, CA 92593
