We LOVE the memories our patients give us through their journeys! This is the sweetest picture. Our big hearted patient, Emma donated 8” of her hair to kids with hair loss. Not to mention, she looked super cool in her Burke & Redford Orthodontist sunglasses. ❤️👩🏻👍🏻😎😁
🦷 When Should YOUR Child First See an Orthodontist?
If you think braces are just for teenagers, you might be surprised. The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that children receive an orthodontic screening no later than age 7.
Why so early?
Because your child's jaw is still growing, we can often achieve results that won't be possible once the face and jaw have finished developing. Early intervention can mean shorter treatment, less extensive work, and lower costs down the road.
What Parents Are Saying About Kids' Braces at Burke & Redford Orthodontists:
Parents throughout the Temecula Valley trust Burke & Redford Orthodontists when their child needs braces for the first time. One parent shared that Dr. Burke has always had their son's best interest throughout the entire process, and that the family would not consider going to any other orthodontist in the valley. Another parent described the results as absolutely fantastic, saying Dr. Redford and his team made the entire experience positive from start to finish.
Most kids won't need treatment after their first visit. But that early evaluation allows Dr. Redford to monitor growth and development so treatment, if needed, can start at the optimum time.
