We dealt with a different kind of unplanned pregnancy and here are the cutest results.
Violet, this beautiful tri-colored King Charles Cavalier, joined our family recently and nobody was aware that she was expecting. A few weeks ago, my son asked why Violet had udders? (😂keep in mind he has grown up on our small farm with all sorts of animals with real udders.) That tipped me off to make contact with the lady we had gotten her from. We realized puppies would be born soon.
A few months ago, given all the changes happening with my company’s closure and us being unsure of a lot of things, we put our small farm on the market. We also found new, loving homes for all of our farm animals. - alpaca, goats, turkey, peacock, chickens and the coolest Sulcata tortoise. Though the farm is quiet and feels a bit empty, I choose not to regret making sure all of our animals that we loved so much would be properly cared for - as we prepared for whatever and wherever the Lord would take us next.

The birth of these two darling puppies is a new experience for us. A distraction of the sweetest kind and a reminder that unexpected things happen, but life keeps going.
