Here’s a fun fact for you: our red, white and blue national emblem –the “Stars and Stripes” flag - was first adopted by the Continental Congress on this day in 1777. The original bore 13 stars and 13 stripes to represent the 13 American colonies. It wasn’t until 1960 that the 50-star flag version of today was flown for the first time. Just a bit of patriotic history to kick off your week. Happy ! Long may she wave!

We are so thankful for those who serve our seniors in skilled nursing care facilities. Residents in care facilities remind us to be present, celebrate the small moments, and value connections.
