"In Tempe, at Daley Park {1625 S College Ave} on the 3rd Sunday of each month from 8am-10am is the Really Really Free Market. People bring items that are ALL FREE, take what you need. There are blankets, produce, diapers, feminine hygiene products, harm reduction and more. If you want to get rid of stuff, this alternative cuts out the thrift stores and gets things directly to the community."

Because of our partnership with Lincoln Financial Group, we can continue to expand our Backpack Program to help feed children in our communities. St. Mary's Food Bank collaborates with more than 100 schools and community centers to provide more than 7,000 backpacks per week to families across the state. Together, we’re working to ensure everyone has access to nourishing food every day. Thank you for being partners in the fight against hunger!

Phoenix children's hospital is in need of donations

- store-bought cookies that are circulated around the hospital on the volunteer Coffee Cart with coffee and tea at no charge to families. Oreo’s, Keebler’s, Fig Newtons, and Lorna Doone Shortbread are always favorites. Individually-wrapped cookies are always preferred, but if they are not - the cookies will be individually wrapped at the hospital.

- mostly travel size toiletries and personal items to help families with essential comfort items for an unexpected or extended stay in the hospital with their child.

Donated items can now be dropped off at the hospital: 1919 E. Thomas Road, Phoenix 85016. Per infection control policy, all donations must be new and sealed in the original packaging. Please email volunteers@phoenixchildrens.com to arrange for someone to meet you for the drop off. Or, call the Volunteer Services office (602-933-0269).
