🌟 Meet Penny – A Bright Light at Friendship Village 🌟

Just one year ago, Penny began bussing tables at Starfire Restaurant through Group Supported Employment (GSE), and she’s quickly become a beloved part of our community. With her cheerful arrivals and warm greetings, Penny lights up the room—always remembering names and sharing smiles. Thanks to GSE, Penny has grown tremendously in her role and may soon be joining us as a direct hire, with new responsibilities at the Village Café. We’re so proud of her journey and grateful for the joy she brings to residents and staff alike!

🎪 Did you know Friendship Village has its very own professional clown? At 73, Robbie Pack—better known as Waubbie the Clown—is still bringing smiles, laughter, and heart to the art of clowning. Her decades of experience even landed her a feature in the new documentary American Clown, which explores the struggles and joys of being a clown in today’s world. Robbie walked the orange carpet at its Hollywood premiere this summer and was surprised to find herself featured throughout the film!

We’re so proud to have Robbie here at Friendship Village, continuing to spread joy with her stories, skills, and big clown heart. ❤️🤡
