Update! Wow, the last four months has been extremely packed:

💽 Getting ready for my composition to be released on our Composers Improvisors Big Band album
☑️ Accepted the Vice President position for AZMTA

🧑‍🤝‍🧑🧑🏿‍🤝‍🧑🏼🧑🏽‍🤝‍🧑🏻 Six group MT sessions a week and counting!!

Thank you to all who have been generous with your support and patience lately. Some days you take emails from your car in between sessions because you're riding that productivity wave, others you shut off and forget to respond to anyone but your cat. So very excited to grow this community and keep it a space where people can learn and evolve into their highest selves ❤️

We are excited to announce our Fall Symposium: The Intersection of Trauma, Dissociation, and Informed Care presented by Dalena Watson, LPC, FAMI, MT-BC, EMDR clinician
This will be a great opportunity to learn more about an important topic for music therapy clinicians.

Year two of business has been jam packed! 🥳☕🎼🎶🎸🎹🪘

We're over here starting up 3 new programs (two early childhood and one neurorehabilitation), teaching 6 new music lesson students, 1 new MT client, and wrapping up a video series all WITHIN A MONTHS TIME. Isn't that wonderful?! 😊 It's humbling what's possible when you learn to ask for help and have your community's support.

Here are a few photos to share all of the fun that's been happening just at Phoenix Conservatory of Music (without the cute little faces I get to see).

One of my favorite parts of Music Therapy sessions is watching my clients explore different sounds, shapes, and colors! I like to pretend my go bag is always this pretty 🤣 but messes are fun too!

Today I'm thankful for my ears. As a musician, they are an essential tool. When getting ready for my session, I realized they are really good at holding things!

So proud to announce that Open Air MT has partnered with Phoenix Conservatory of Music to create an Early Childhood Music Academy!!!! 🎶🎹🪘🎵

Here your little one can learn about patterns and shapes, movement and music, reading and rhythm making, and so much more. Not to mention they'll get to spend up to four days a week with yours truly (Ateh Autumn)! 🤸‍♀️🎵🥳

Spread the word so the next generation can learn about community, culture, music, and what it means to care and create together. 🟠🟦🔺💚
