Closing out Black History Month in celebration and community. This week, we were honored to hear from Laura C. Bulluck, enjoy music from a local DJ, and support Black-owned business Kingpin 🤩

As February comes to a close, we remain committed to honoring Black history and strengthening our efforts to build a more inclusive, informed and empowered donation community💚🖤❤️

🌟Spotlight on Lauren Manguso🌟

"I am a quality assurance records analyst, which means I review donor records and data entry in iTransplant for cases involving tissue and ocular recovery. I work to make sure there are no findings/contraindications in a donor's record that would render tissue unsafe for transplant. I also complete requests from tissue processors to obtain additional records and donor information so tissue can be released in a timely manner to be used for improving lives."

Lauren loves to vacation in the mountains and enjoys all types of music depending on the mood.

Thanks for being such an important part of the work we do, Lauren. We couldn't do it without you!

It may be February, but we can't wait for National Donate Life Month in April!

That's why we kicked off the month with our hospital, driver license and community partners this morning. It's a chance for us to plan how to honor and remember donor heroes, celebrate lives saved and encourage Arizonans to register as organ and tissue donors. 💙

"I take pride in the fact that I helped build DNA from its early days into what it is now - a recognized leader in organ and tissue donation," says Donor Network of Arizona's President and CEO, Kathy Mills. "Watching [our team] support more lives being saved and healed through donation is deeply rewarding."

See page 53 of AZ Big Media's "Who's Who in Healthcare for 2026" for Mills' full interview. https://azbigmedia.com/publications/azbusiness-november-december-2025/

🌟Spotlight on Katrina Gauntt🌟

"I do a lot of statistical modeling and analytics to help guide critical decision making or access the impact of changes we make. These models and analytics support our everyday dashboards and research efforts, which in return advance donation and support the staff that make it happen."

Katrina is an avid swimmer and loves to read, with her book pile stacked sky high.

"...Highlights I would say are 'Babel' by R.F. Kuang, 'Everything Is Tuberculosis' by John Green and 'True Biz' by Sara Novic," says Katrina.

Thank you for all you do at DNA to support the mission to help save and heal lives, Katrina!

40 years. That's how long we've been in the business of saving and healing lives. We're just getting started 💚 Read more on our history below ⬇️

It all started in 1986 when Arizona’s first organ donation program, Arizona Organ and Tissue Bank (AOTB), was born by a department of Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, now known as Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix.

Fast forward to now: AOTB changed its name to Donor Network of Arizona (DNA). We serve as the first responders for organ donation in Arizona, caring for donors and working with donor families to uphold the decision to give life to others.

Of course, we couldn’t do it without you. Thank you for being here.
