One of the Biggest Questions about Reiki…
What if I have no belief? Cant or dont feel connected with any particular religion, spiritual practice or guide?

Many of us( i would reach to say) ALL of us have Major Problems with Faith and Trust.

While reiki has expanded my spiritual beliefs, helped other connect deeper with their God…

Many people i see have lost faith, experienced religious Trauma or have wavering beliefs.

However, one of my FAVORITE THINGS about Reiki is that is
“Works” because of intentionality.

Sad to say, but many of us have lost touch with intentionality in general.

As a Somatic Practitioner who helps people bring safety back to their bodies and peace to their past 🧐Intentionaility is all it Requires

Myth I keep reminding people: There is no “right” way to heal.

Some people may take years just to forgive themselves for horrible things that happened to them regardless of seeing the reality that responsibility comes from many different places not just other humans or our circumstances or an environment, but also our past our history, our original factory settings, a.k.a. are nervous system responses.

I know we talked deep talk topics on the podcast, but that’s only because you’re not doing it in your own circles. Find safe people find safety in yourself if you need help you know where to go.

The last few years, I intentionally put myself in vulnerable collaborations.

Co-creating.
Building with others.
Letting people see me in real time.

Here’s what I learned:

1️⃣ I’ve always been a go-getter.
If there’s an opportunity, I move. I build. I execute.

But I realized my direct, business-first energy — what some would call machismo — can intimidate people. Especially in creative or emotional spaces. It can make it harder for others to initially perceive the empathetic, attuned space holder that I actually am.

Power without visible softness can be misunderstood.

2️⃣ I’ve always known my honesty has cost me relationships.
Historically, being intense or blunt has burned bridges.

What deepened for me is this: full, unfiltered Monique is not for new relationships. Discernment matters. Timing matters. Audience matters.

Authenticity doesn’t mean unlimited access.

3️⃣ I had to refine who I meet as an equal…
And who actually needs teacher energy from me.

Some people say they want depth —
but they’re still hiding.🙈🙊🙉

And I had forgotten that not everyone shows up fully, even when you do.

This doesnt mean we back away. This doesnt need to invite a pity party (okay, maybe a 15 min one🦀👶🏽🍼)

Collaboration exposed my edges.
My intensity.
My softness.
My blind spots.

It helped me refine my boundaries without shrinking my power.

YOU (or your healthcare provider) cannot get to root cause WITHOUT being Regulated enough!

Ive heard so many stories of clients who literally cannot find a doctor who dosent let their bias get in the way of treatment.

That is WHY knowing and trusting your body and its regulation is 🔑🔑🔑 to
Advocating for yourself
understanding when the Dx could be wrong or complex
Not pigeon hole yourself into being “stuck” in a diagnosis (Dx)
