🌶️ Lean & Mean Chili
Hearty, balanced, and perfect for meal prep.
Packed with lean protein, fiber-rich beans, and colorful veggies, this chili is a nutrient-dense comfort food that supports hormone health, balanced energy, and satiety.

🥘 Ingredients:
16 oz 93% lean ground beef
16 oz 99% lean ground turkey
3 cups tomato sauce
1 cup diced tomatoes
1 cup kidney beans (rinsed & drained)
2 ½ cups no-salt chili beans
2 cups green bell pepper (chopped)
2 cups red bell pepper (chopped)
1 medium onion (chopped)
2 cloves garlic (chopped)
½ cup chili powder
1 cup water
1 Tbsp black pepper
1 tsp cayenne pepper
2 Tbsp olive oil

👩‍🍳 Directions:
Brown beef and turkey, drain, and set aside.
In a large pot, cook peppers, onion, and garlic in olive oil for 5 minutes.
Add meat back in with all remaining ingredients. Stir well.
Simmer on low for 1–2 hours.
Divide into 12 servings—perfect for weekly prep!

From humble beginnings to a thriving clinic…

When Madison and Makenna first started at Protea Medical Center, we were a much smaller practice — just a couple of front desk spots, a few treatment rooms, and three providers.

Today, we’ve grown into a full team with nine providers, a phlebotomist, and an entire medicinary — but our mission remains the same: to care deeply for our patients and help them reach their health goals.
