About Us
Our mission at RUYI Acupuncture Oriental Medicine Clinic is to provide our patients with an integrated and holistic approach to healing. We do not fix problems. Rather, we enrich our patients’ lives by teaching them how to self-heal and by helping them unlock their healing potential.
Ruyi (如意) is a curved decorative object that serves as a ceremonial sceptre in Chinese Buddhism or a talisman symbolizing power and good fortune in Chinese folklore. Ruyi means "According to one's wishes" and "Happiness" as well.
Louie Lu L.Ac. is a California State licensed acupuncturist. He founded RUYI Acupuncture Oriental Medicine Clinic in 2018 in order to fill a gap in the world of modern oriental medicine practices. He began his journey of healing and Acupuncture since 2014. He has dedicated his time and effort to provide every patient with a care, patience and unique acupuncture experience. Louie received his master of science degree in Oriental Medicine from Alhambra Medical University. He is also the council member of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies.
