Canyon Creek Behavioral Health currently provides inpatient treatment for adolescents (ages 13-17), Residential Treatment for males (ages 13-17), adults (ages 18-59), and older adults (ages 60 and up) facing issues with mental health and mood disorders such as bipolar disorder and depression. PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) and IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) are also available for adolescents, adults, and older adults, including new virtual IOP groups. Our skilled therapists are highly qualified and are prepared to meet your individual needs. Our treatment philosophy embodies the belief that even with a psychiatric diagnosis, it is possible to live a life of stability and purpose. Our facility, located in Temple, Texas, serves patients of all types and from all backgrounds. Our Champion at Work for January is GG Smith, Intake Coordinator. GG has been on our team for about five years now, with a total of 13 years in the mental health field.
GG started off as a mental health tech and worked her way up throughout the years, working in different roles for the mental health community. GG stated she got into the mental health field because she understands that people need help and recognizes the importance of caring for one's mental well-being.
GG shares that her favorite part of her job is meeting different people. From patients to their families, she states it's rewarding to be a part of their healing journeys.

Exciting news from our outpatient programs. Weโve opened an evening virtual IOP (EVIOP) adult group. EVIOP meets Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6โ9 p.m. and is fully virtual!
IOP: include 3 psychotherapy groups (Adults 18+)
Virtual IOP (no app to download).
Case Management.
Family sessions.
No medication management.
We provide services to adults who are unable to take off work or school, are stable and need support in learning new coping skills or refreshing existing ones.
