Miguel Angel Laboy

Miguel A. Laboy, 72, of Belton, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of service, love, and quiet strength.

Miguel was born on July 1, 1953, to Leocadio Laboy and Ana Luisa Ramos. He married the love of his life, Maria Laboy, on January 12, 1974, and together they built a life grounded in devotion and family. He was a high school graduate and went on to serve his country honorably for 29 years in the United States Army.

Miguel found joy in life’s simple pleasures—fishing, BBQing, collecting antique items, and studying history. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, whether fixing something as a skilled handyman, sharing knowledge, or teaching others. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and embracing the freedom of the open road. He proudly served his country for nearly three decades with unwavering honor, dignity, and pride. Known for his generous spirit, he was a true Samaritan who extended kindness to all he encountered. He deeply loved his family and friends and was, in every sense, a gentle and compassionate soul. Blessed by God, he touched countless lives and leaves behind a lasting legacy of love and goodness.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leocadio Laboy and Ana Luisa Ramos; his brothers, Angel Laboy and Francisco Laboy; and his sisters, Gloria Laboy, Marta Laboy, Modesta Laboy, Silvia Laboy, and Carmen Del Valle.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Laboy; his sisters, Julia Laboy Ramos, Estevina Laboy, and Valentina Laboy; his daughters, Heidy Laboy and Melisa Laboy; and his cherished grandchildren, Isabella Laboy and Clayton Laboy.

Miguel was not only a father, cousin, and grandfather to his own family, but to many others who looked to him for guidance, kindness, and unwavering support.

Visitation will be held on April 29 from 6:00–8:00 PM, with a rosary recited at 7:00 PM, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Belton. Funeral services will be held on April 30 at 8:00 AM at Christ the King Catholic Church, followed by interment at 10:00 AM at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.

Antonia "Toni" Aragon

Antonia “Toni” Aragon passed away on April 21, 2026, at the age of 91. Born to Cleto and Isabel Hernandez, Toni spent her entire life rooted in the Temple community she loved — and that community loved her right back.

Toni was a woman of deep faith, lifelong laughter, and boundless warmth. Whether she was tending her garden, working a crossword puzzle, playing bingo, dancing, or settling in for an episode of Little House on the Prairie, she brought joy to everything she touched. Those who knew her will remember a woman who was always quick with a joke and whose laughter lit up every room she entered. She was a faithful and devoted member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, where she gave of herself week after week, pouring her heart into the parish and its events. She worked at Casey’s Furniture for 44 years, and was known by the community as the walking lady with the long hair.

Above all else, Toni was a family woman. She and her husband Paul “Pablo” Aragon Sr. built a life together that grew into something extraordinary — a legacy of 25 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren. She leaves behind her children Lydia, Cynthia, Chris, Paul Jr., and Steve, and her beloved sisters Patsy and Felipa.

She is preceded in death by her husband Paul “Pablo” Aragon Sr.; her son Ralph Aragon Sr.; and her siblings Victoria, Eleno, Rosa, Joaquin, Andrew “Pie”, Florentino, Margarita, Jessie, and Joe. She joins them now in eternal rest, reunited with those who went before her.

In her final days, Toni was surrounded by her children and grandchildren — exactly where she belonged.

She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed enough to know her.

A special thank you to the doctors & nurses of the South Tower at Baylor S&W, who made her final days as comfortable and pain free as possible.

Santos Espinoza

Santos Espinoza passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 12, 2026, in Harker Heights. She was 82 years old. She was born on June 23, 1943, to Jesus and Isabel Espinoza (Lopez).

She was raised with strong values of motherhood, resilience, and dedication—qualities that remained with her throughout her life. Santos carried herself with a quiet strength, grace and pure elegance leaving a lasting impression on those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Words could never do her justice. Her life was a beautiful book you would have to experience and listen to in order to understand the impact she had and will continue to have on her loved ones. Santos was a pure heart with a love for all her children, grandchildren and an even bigger love for her great-grandchildren who kept her going. She was fierce, patient, with a fighting spirit. Strong as ever, no matter how hard life got for her she would continue it with a smile on her face.
