In this time of shelter-in-place, please remember to check on each other, neighbors and family members. Unfortunately, the domestic violence rate or Intimate partner violence rates are sure to increase. Many victims might be unable to call for help. We are each others keepers in this time. So, please take care of each other. Children are especially vulnerable at this time. They are not around teacher/educators who can intervene with abusive symptoms. COVID-19 can be a killer; but so can violence against another.
Also, if you know of children who are without food in the Killeen, Temple, Fort Hood Area, please let me know. No child in this area will go hungry as long as God gives me breath in my body.
LIFE is the Journey and we are on a deadly stop here; but we are one in Christ and we are here with you and for you.

As the World continues to battle COVID-19 or the Coronavirus, take some time to reflect on where you are and where you want to be.
I'm sure no one expected the start of 2020 to be such a force but here we are.
Don't allow this time to get you upset. or anxious; but do take it seriously. Listen to local authorities. and medical personal and. when you have no. direction, use common. sense to stay safe. We can and we will.
This is a stop along life's journey and we'll make it through. this. LIFE is the Journey and though these might be uncertain times, we can and will make it through this. Don't panic, listen to your local authorities and medical personal, check on your neighbors and our elderly.

The Black community celebrates Black History Month in February. I think it's important to remember all of the history of America. Black history is an important part of America's history.

TEEN DATING VIOLENCE AWARENESS MONTH is also in February. The Black community reports some of the highest rates of TDV in America. So while America recognizes Black history month, don't forget that we have many teens suffering from dating violence. It's time to WRITE the wrong. WRITE it so that we have a direction in which to move from dating violence for Teens.

Mental Health is just as important as your Medical Health. Call me at 254-340-4534.

HOLIDAY HEALING

What goes on in this house stays in this house doesn’t work now.
Don’t let what went on in the house Ruin your adult life.
Black families act like it’s a weakness to get mental health help. I love the Lord but God put Christian counselors down here to help you. Yep, you need to make a move but God is telling you that He’s sending you help. Domestic violence, we go to the pastor but most aren’t trained to work with it. I’m sure you prayed when you first got beaten. LIFE is the Journey can help but you have to take the first step.

Self-Harm and Su***de are very real. We hear people talk about su***de and cutting all the time; but, it is very real. African Americans are really good at hiding suicidal thoughts and attempts in the Black family; we call a "Whte girl" thang. Su***de and Self-Harm don't discriminate and many youth and teens are taking their lives because no one will listen. It's too late when they are gone. Take action to save your child while you can.
What goes in this house, does not need to stay in this house if it hurts you.
End your year with a great start for next year, get the help you or a family member or friend needs.
LIFE is the Journey, You determine your own destination,
I help you get there.
