Colostrum is the earliest human milk produced, beginning in mid-pregnancy (12-18 weeks) and is continually produced for the first few days after baby’s birth. It is thick, sticky, concentrated milk and is usually yellow, clear or white, although it could be other colors as well. It is made up of immune factors, protein, sugar, and fats.

Welcome. My name is Michelle better known as “Mishi”, and I am a Lactation Consultant and a Labor and Delivery Nurse in Villa Rica, GA and surrounding areas. I feel strongly about helping new parents navigate the challenges of feeding their baby with confidence, education, and joy. I want to help you achieve your feeding goals in a way that works for your entire family!

My journey began 10 years ago when I became a Registered Nurse
and landed my dream job in the Labor and Delivery Unit. I am
passionate about what I do helping families bring their babies into this world and support them through the challenges of adapting to the changes that represent having a newborn baby. From personal
experience breastfeeding to me was challenging and after many
adjustments I was able to successfully breastfeed my 3 children for
over 16 months. The connection that came along with my decision
of breastfeeding is something I will cherish forever.
