October 28th is National First Responder Day! TVAC is thankful for all of our members, both past and present, as well as first responders everywhere for their service 🚑🚨🚔🚨🚒

TVAC members were on standby for the 2025 Palisades Half-Marathon and 8K Trail Run today! TVAC staffed two event crews with Ambulance 42 and ASAP, one of our off-roading vehicles, as well as a crew to respond to town calls throughout the event. TVAC worked alongside the Palisades Interstate Parkway Police, Closter Volunteer Ambulance, Norwood Volunteer Ambulance, and Palisades Parks Conservatory volunteers to ensure the safety of over 600 runners. Thank you to the Palisade’s Parks Conservancy and all of the runners for a great race! 🏃‍♂️🚑🏃‍♀️

TVAC members provide standby for all Tenafly High School’s Varsity Football home games. So far this season, crews attended the home-opener on 9/5 and another game this evening in which the Tigers won 34-2! Go Tigers!! 🐯🚑🏈🚨

TVAC will be attending the NY Boulders Baseball Game THIS Sunday (8/17) at 4:00 PM at Clover Stadium in Pomona, NY- will you?! All tickets purchased from this link below are $20.94/person which will include group seating along the First Base Line by the NY Boulders’ Dugout and a NY Boulders Baseball Hat! Once at least 25 tickets, the NY Boulders will donate $5 per ticket to TVAC so please spread the word! These tickets are available to purchase until 1:00 PM on 8/14. We hope to see you there!

Last night, TVAC was on standby at Tenafly’s annual Fourth of July Fireworks!

TVAC members staffed 7 event crews, including two first aid stations, two walking crews, our off-roading ASAP and Gator, as well as Ambulance 42. Ambulance 41 was staffed to respond to emergencies throughout the Borough during the event. EMS Command was run by Captain Pedoto, Assistant Captain Justin Evron, and Lieutenant David Novick.

39 members. 8 crews staffed. 6 vehicles utilized. 1 Department.
