I used to eat ALLLLL processed and fried foods, barely move, and just felt…meh.
Not terrible, but definitely not confident or GOOD either.
Then working as a nurse in the ICU changed everything.
I saw firsthand what happens when people don’t take care of their health…
ventilators, tubes, preventable diseases.
And that changed my entire mindset on MY health. But you can imagine making a change from all of the friend processed foods I ate to ANYTHING healthy was a bit of a stretch for me.
So I started super freaking small: added A veggie at dinner and hit play on a 20 minute workout video 3x/wk.
That’s it.…because that’s all I had the bandwidth for.
But those tiny little actions made me feel kinda badass, more energized, STRONG, and I wont lie…HOT.
I made a ton of changes to what I eat over time…and am STILL adjusting to what my body needs now in perimenopause, but I sure did eat a cheeseburger, fries, and a cocktail last night…unapologetically. I didn’t feel guilty or bad about it…because I eat as good as I can the rest of the week.
Mindset and balance are KEY to this…and that is EXACTLY what I teach inside my programs.
