A message from one of our Surrogates-🩵
I often get asked why I decided to become a surrogate. It’s a loaded question. Short answer is because I wanted to help someone else bring a baby into this world.
Long answer is I have brought two kids into this world, and I know my body is capable of growing, nourishing, and carrying a baby to term without complications. I feel lucky to be able to say that because not all women can. I have always dreamed of being a mother. Furthermore, I always wanted children that were biologically related to my husband and I. I can’t imagine the heartache I would feel if I wasn’t able to carry a child and the yearn I would feel to have a baby that was half of me and half of my husband. If a women can’t carry then the only way she can have a baby biologically related to both her and her husband would be through surrogacy. I knew I wanted to help, and I knew I could help.
Surrogacy is so beautiful. I gave the gift of a lifetime to another family, and I am forever grateful for the wonderful journey that it was.

Good morning! Its a new year and we wanted to repost the qualifications that need to be met in order to become a surrogate.

-Women between the ages of 21-38 with an excellent health history who enjoy pregnancy.
-Average BMI (body weight to height)
-Non-smoking and resides in a smoke-free environment
-No history or current use of illicit drugs, and no history of alcohol abuse
-Delivered at least one child full term without pregnancy complications
-No more than one prior C-Section
-Have a written letter from current OB/GYN Physician confirming health status to carry a child
-Have medical insurance and is not receiving Government assistance
-Pass a thorough criminal background check
-Pass a full psychological screening
-Have reliable transportation and the ability to attend medical appointments as scheduled
-Have support from significant other and family
