Speed is a β€œuse it or lose it” skill! πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸ’¨ After just 5-7 days without sprinting, max velocity performance starts to decline. If you go over 14 days without sprinting at full effort, your nervous system loses efficiency, and those hard-earned speed gains fade fast. 😬

To keep your top-end speed sharp:
βœ… Sprint at least once a week at 90-95% intensity
βœ… Stay consistent with max velocity drills
βœ… Incorporate explosive plyometrics to maintain elastic strength

Why don’t we? Because the path to success is tough.

It pushes us beyond our limits, forces us out of our comfort zones, and makes us face our fears.

Look at Kobe Bryant's routine:

βœ… Trained from 4-6 AM
βœ… Breakfast
βœ… Trained from 9-11 AM
βœ… Relaxed and recovered
βœ… Trained from 2-4 PM
βœ… Relaxed and recovered
βœ… Trained from 7-9 PM

Does anyone want this schedule? It's demanding and exhausting, but it's what it took for him to achieve greatness.

True greatness requires sacrifice, discipline, and consistency. Most people aren't willing to make these investments.
