Nutrition Center for Disease and Weight Management Welcome to the Nutrition Center for Disease and Weight Management where there is continued effort to find nutrition intervention for human diseases.

Dr. Ivaturi is the director of the Nutrition Center for Disease and Weight Management. He earned his doctorate degree in metabolic nutrition from the University of Nebraska and his masters degree in foods and nutrition from Kansas State University. He is a board certified nutrition specialist (CNS). Prior to starting his clinical practice, he was a tenured professor in the Nutrition and Dietetics Department at Indiana State University. Dr. Ivaturi has more than 15 years of nutrition consultation experience and is experienced in providing nutrition education services.

“My goal is to educate the role of nutrition in human health to one patient at a time so they can take ownership of diseased states. This empowers them with the ability to interact proactively with their healthcare professionals. I love teaching and explaining to patients the role of nutrition and its role in their overall well-being.”

In light of Gov. Holcomb’s guidance to close non-essential services to curb the spread of Covid-19, aka Coronavirus, we have made a decision to err on the side of caution.

Nutrition Center will be closed for two weeks, starting today, March 23, 2020.

We wish everyone a safe and healthy two weeks. Please use caution as your guideline to keep the dreadful Coronavirus away from you as well as those around you.
