Last week, our Home Health and Hospice teams celebrated Christmas in July! 🎄

It wasn’t just about festive fun — it was a time for our teams to reflect on mid-year successes, milestones, and accomplishments, and to set intentional goals for an even stronger second half of the year.

We’re incredibly proud of the dedication, compassion, and collaboration shown by our Home Health, Hospice, and Inpatient Unit clinicians, support staff, and leadership team. Your commitment is making a real impact in the lives of those we serve — and we’re excited for all that’s still to come in 2025!

Join us in celebrating Jody’s 29th work anniversary!

For nearly three decades, Jody has made a huge difference in the lives of patients and families through her work in home health and hospice. Her compassion, dedication, and steady support have helped guide so many people through some of life’s toughest moments.

Jody now leads our spiritual care, social work, and volunteer teams as the Social Services Coordinator—while still staying closely connected to patients and families as a medical social worker.

Thanks for all you do, Jody!

This past Sunday, we had the privilege of joining the Vigo County High School Bass Fishing teams for their Bass Fishing Championship. During the event, we were honored to receive a generous donation of over $7,500.

A special thank-you to the student anglers, coaches, families, and supporters who made this possible. Your generosity will directly benefit Hospice of the Wabash Valley, helping us continue our mission of providing compassionate, dignified care to individuals and families on their end-of-life journeys.

Hospice is more than medical care — it’s about offering comfort, support, and peace during one of life’s most vulnerable times. Events like Sunday’s highlight the strength of our community and its commitment to caring for one another.

Thank you again to the Vigo County High School Bass Fishing teams and everyone involved for supporting the mission of hospice in our community. Your generosity truly makes a lasting difference.
