Friday evening we had the opportunity to share information with members of the community at the 12 Points District First Friday! Sunny was out and about for high fives and photo ops! Our Special Olympics Vigo County ALC Athlete leaders were also on hand to provide information on programs and some of the sport training they go through. It was a great evening and we were honored to be a part of it!!

We had a LOT going on today, besides construction and prepping for asphalt tomorrow! Today was the final day for our Summer program, which we had the pleasure of celebrating with a visit from Bring Back The Past Ice Cream Novelties in memory and honor of our dear friend, Margaret Smock (thank you to Margaret’s boyfriends’ mom & dad 😜).

More MAJOR milestones and updates!! Cabinets and countertops are in. Ceiling tiles will be dropping in and we are now “powered up”!! Flooring will be happening before we know it!!
Fundraising continues to !! Hit up our website or drop us a check - all contributions make a difference and are what got us to this phase. And many, many thanks to each and every person who have supported us to get to this point!!

Alright friends......we are still working to meet our fundraising goal for our facility expansion. So one way to help the cause......Jodi just had 10 made from scratch pies delivered! Jodi's mom, Donna, is an exceptional baker and makes delicious pies! She has very graciously whipped up & donated: an apple (1); cherry(5); and pecan(3).
Remember this is a fundraising effort, so we will start the prices at $25/pie - obviously MORE is even better!! The funds we are working to raise goes to our Build Us Up campaign!!

Another great Friendship visit with the 2025 Journey of Hope TransAmerica cyclists. The team started their journey in Oregon in June and will continue across the country finishing in Washington, DC. Throughout their travels, the group engage in visits with friends at stops in various communities. They all fundraise prior to the journey to support and raise awareness for individuals with disabilities. Happiness Bag has had the great privilege of hosting a friendship visit and dinner for the team for over 20 years. Many thanks to everyone who joined us this evening and took part in the annual visit. Safe travels to the team has they travel on to Bloomington tomorrow.

Bringing Back The Bash 2025 is rolling into The Mill on Saturday, July 19 from 2–7 PM, and it’s going to be a wild ride of music, food, family fun, and jaw-dropping cars on display.

🏁 All makes & models welcome 🎶 DJs & live energy 🔥 Burnout contest 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family fun & Jeep rides 🎁 Proceeds support local charities so be ready to purchase the event shirts this year, we still have some 2024 for cheap too!

Stick around for Cruisin’ the Bash at 7 PM and let's keep the streets clean and safe, don't do stupid stuff!! Seriously, we want to keep this yearly tradition going! THPD will be present throughout the event!

This isn’t just a car show it’s a full-on celebration. Let’s light up Terre Haute together!
