👶Pediatrics Lab Day!👶

Last week, our Grad 3’s got to put their pediatric skills into practice! They learned some taping and wrapping exercises in their Peds Demo Lab and put the Peabody Developmental Motor Scale to the test on several kids!

We want to say thank you to the families who trusted our Grad 3’s to practice their skills on their little ones and gain some hands-on experience!

The second years stepped into their amputee and prosthetics unit last week! Huge thanks to the Amputee Walking School by Hanger Clinic for allowing us to visit and practice our hands-on skills!💙

🎃October SPTA Meeting🎃

Teamwork, laughter, and a little friendly competition! Our October SPTA meeting was filled some great conversations about fundraising and volunteering opportunities, and we wrapped it up with some Minute to Win It games! Always a great time coming together with our 1st and 2nd year students!

Huge thanks to our presidents, vice presidents, other SPTA board members, and faculty for coordinating this event! We can’t wait to see everyone again in November!💙

🌲From Classroom to Trail🌲

Third year DPT students partnered with Grace Unlimited in Terre Haute for an adaptive hiking project. Four student teams planned and led a hike using the Joelette adventure chair, supporting community members with disabilities. A beautiful day of inclusion, teamwork, and connection outdoors!

🎃Healthy Halloween👻

Last week, our DPT students participated in Healthy Halloween at the Children’s Museum! We helped kids get moving through a fun obstacle course and shared the importance of staying active - even during spooky season!

We want to share of thanks to the staff who ran this event, our DPT faculty who helped out, and all of our DPT students who volunteered to help out and share their passion for being active with the next generation!🎃

💙 Our DPT students partnered with the Foster Grandparents Program the other day to provide fall risk screenings and promote safe, active aging! We love connecting classroom learning with community impact.

Midterm Madness!🥳

Our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-years got together last week to celebrate successfully completing the first half of the Fall 2025 semester. We enjoyed pizza and played yard games with some great fall weather!
