🍝✨ WV + Pasta = A Recipe for Success! ✨🍝

Our Pasta Dinner Fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association was a huge hit! Residents, families, and guests came together to share a delicious meal, lots of laughter, and most importantly, to support an incredible cause!

From heaping plates of pasta to heaping amounts of generosity, the night was filled with warmth, joy, and community spirit. We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make a difference. One noodle at a time! 😉

Together, we’re proving that when Westminster Village gathers around the table, amazing things happen. 💫

🌙✨ Moonlight on the Wabash ✨🌙

Westminster Village was proud to be a sponsor of this year’s Wabash Riverscape Moonlight on the Wabash event and our leadership team loved rolling up their sleeves to volunteer and be part of the evening!

Wabash Riverscapes is doing incredible work to reimagine and revitalize our community’s connection to the Wabash River. From creating inviting spaces to promoting conservation and community events, their vision is helping transform the riverfront into a place where people can gather, celebrate, and enjoy the natural beauty that makes our city special.

A very special thank you to our Executive Chef, who also happens to be the owner of Federal Coffee + Fine Foods, for catering their event. He did not disappoint—guests raved about the delicious food that made the evening even more memorable.

It was a night filled with fun, fellowship, and community pride. We’re grateful to have been part of it!

Patriot Day – Honoring September Souls 🇺🇸

Today, on Patriot Day, we pause to remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

Our very own resident, Gene England, carries with him a remarkable tribute created by his late wife, Rosemary England. Rosemary poured her heart and talent into a quilt she titled “September Souls.”

Each square of this quilt represents an individual who lost their life that day—whether in the Twin Towers, at the Pentagon, or aboard the planes. With every stitch, Rosemary honored their memory, ensuring that each soul was recognized in a unique and personal way.

This quilt is more than fabric and thread. It is a living memorial, a reminder of the strength, unity, and resilience of our nation in the face of tragedy.

Today, as we reflect, we recognize Patriot Day and the enduring legacy of all those we lost. May we continue to honor them not only in remembrance but in the way we live each day with courage, kindness, and unity.

🌽Harvest Day with Ivy Tech🌽

Today, our residents and team members enjoyed a wonderful day in the East Field, celebrating the harvest of sweet corn grown through our partnership with Ivy Tech Community College Terre Haute.

Through this collaboration, Ivy Tech agriculture students have the opportunity to learn and practice hands-on farming right here on our land while our Westminster community gets to share in the experience of harvesting and enjoying the produce.

We are so grateful for the students and professors who bring their knowledge, energy, and joy to this partnership. Not only does it provide fresh, locally grown food, but it also creates meaningful connections between generations, uniting education, community, and sustainability.

Thank you, Ivy Tech, for cultivating such a valuable partnership. We are proud to work together and look forward to many more harvests ahead!

On Friday, September 5th, our very own Village Singers took the stage after more than 3 months of dedicated practice, and what a performance it was! Their theme, “A Year of Holidays,” brought joy, laughter, and memories to life through music.

We were thrilled to welcome over 100 people in the audience, cheering on our talented residents as they showcased their hard work, spirit, and love of singing.

A huge congratulations to the Village Singers for an outstanding show! You’ve made us all so proud! And thank you to everyone who came out to support and celebrate with us.

Here’s to many more events filled with music, community, and joy!

The Ouabache Land Conservancy (OLC) is dedicated to protecting and preserving the natural beauty of the Terre Haute and Vigo County area.
