Union Health Foundation

Founded in 1985 as a 501(c)3, Union Health Foundation is dedicated to the advancement of healthcare services in the Wabash Valley.

Union Health Foundation provides funding for medical equipment, continuing education, patient assistance programs, healthcare services and community health initiatives. 💛 Honoring Shawn’s Legacy: NICU Baby Clothes Drive 💛

In memory of Shawn Depasse—a devoted wife, mother, and NICU nurse at Union Health who lost her battle with breast cancer in October 2022—her family continues to run the annual Shawn’s Clothing Closet Drive. Shawn always went above and beyond to care for her patients, and this drive is a meaningful way to honor her legacy and give back.

This year, thanks to generous donors, over 500 preemie and newborn onesies and sleepers were collected for families in the NICU. Pictured here are Shawn’s daughter, husband, and granddaughter with Union Health NICU nurses, helping deliver these items and keeping Shawn’s spirit of compassion alive.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this special tradition! 💛
