Prairie County Clinic is a general medicine, family practice. We have 2 providers that see patients for general wellness exams, illnesses, chronic care, women's and men's health, Well child checks, DOT physicals, Sports physicals, cryosurgery, removal of skin lesions, lab tests, and an array of other clinical visits. Prairie Community Hospital exists to provide the best possible comprehensive and secondary care, including inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care with referral of every specialized secondary and tertiary care of other healthcare centers. Within the limits of it's resources, the Facility seeks to define and meet the health maintenance treatment and prevention health education needs of its service population. In an effort to provide high quality care in the most economic manner possible and to minimize duplication of services, the Facility will undertake planning and promotional endeavors. The Prairie Community Hospital is licensed as a 21 bed Critical Access Hospital.
