There’s something sacred about waiting… and this sweet mama did just that with such patience and trust. 💛

Going past your “due date” can feel heavy—every message, every question, every “is baby here yet?” can add to the anticipation. But this beautiful boy chose his own perfect day, and oh, was it worth the wait.

When he was ready, everything unfolded so peacefully. Surrounded by love, with their wedding playlist filling the room, this mama stepped fully into her strength and intuition. As he made his entrance into the world, “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” played in the background—such a joyful, fitting moment that none of us will forget. 🎶

Dad was an incredible, steady support the entire time, and mom was so in tune with her body and her wishes. She knew exactly what she wanted, voiced it with confidence, and achieved her goal of a beautiful home water birth.

It’s always such a pleasure to work alongside Jaimee with Four States Doulas—I think we make a wonderful team to support such a special day. 🤍

It was truly an honor to witness and support this journey. Welcome to the world, sweet boy—you were worth every moment of the wait. 💙

We hold space for those missing a part of themselves as we miss the beauty on the right. Sister was our favorite. Happy Siblings Day in all of its joy and possible sadness.

🪨 The Breakthrough: The "stone" of transition can feel immovable, but it’s the exact moment before the greatest transformation.

April is Cesarean Birth Awareness Month.
🌸 In 2020, Texas surgical birth stats were 34.7%, which means of 100 births around 35 of them were cesarean.
🌸 The World Health Organization states this number should be around 10-15%.

Doulas improve birth outcomes for Families and reduce the instance of surgical birth. We provide valuable information on providers and facilities. We support with information about risks and benefits of inductions. Our support and comfort measures may reduce the need for pain interventions. Also, Doulas empower the birther to use their voice to advocate for their desired birth.
