🍵 Which Tea Do You Prefer? Pick Your Favorite! ☕
There's a world of flavors from a single plant: Camellia sinensis. Depending on how its leaves are processed, we get these 6 wonderful types. Look at the picture and tell us, which one steals your heart?
1. ⚪ White Tea
Flavor & Texture: The softest and most delicate. Very subtle sweet and fruity notes. Leaves a light, fresh, and velvety mouthfeel.
2. 🟢 Green Tea
Flavor & Texture: Fresh and herbal, sometimes with hints of steamed vegetables or seaweed. It's light-bodied and often has a very soft astringency (that drying sensation on the tongue).
3. 🟡 Yellow Tea
Flavor & Texture: Very similar to Green Tea, but with a smoother and less astringent flavor. It feels round in the mouth with a pleasant honey-like or toasted sweetness.
4. 🔵 Oolong Tea
Flavor & Texture: The most versatile. Ranges from very floral and sweet notes (low oxidation) to toasted and woody (high oxidation). Usually has a medium, buttery body.
5. ⚫ Black Tea
Flavor & Texture: Intense and robust. Flavors vary between malty, fruity (like muscatel grape), or spicy. It's the fullest-bodied tea, ideal for enjoying with milk.
6. 🟤 Pu-erh Tea (Dark/Red Tea)
Flavor & Texture: Earthy and deep, like a forest or damp soil. Its texture is smooth, dense, and velvety; a flavor that envelops the mouth and mellows over time.
