Our main objective at Riverview is to always do what is best for the patient as well as their family. It is our intention to restore you to your highest level of functioning so you can return to your community and enjoy life. We focus on each individual as a whole, working with their problems within the broader scope of who they are as a person, their family and communities. This means each treatm

ent plan is personalized to fit your specific needs. At Riverview we believe in making connections with you and any family members involved in your program plan. For individuals who have reached a stage that makes it no longer possible to be maintained in a home environment we work with families to provide education about possible alternatives and help them identify the best possible option to meet their loved ones need. We also understand how hard this decision can be and provide supportive therapy for families having difficulties transitioning loved ones into long term care.

This week, Riverview Behavioral Health proudly celebrated Hospital Week by recognizing the incredible employees who continue to make a difference in the lives of our patients and community every day. Proud of our team at Riverview Behavioral Health Hospital for reaching 168 admissions for the month of April.

Behind every admission is a person needing support, a family searching for hope, and a team committed to helping during some of life’s most difficult moments. This milestone represents more than just a number, it reflects lives impacted, patients supported, and the work being done every day inside our hospital.

Mental health care takes compassion, teamwork, patience, and dedication. From admissions, nursing, therapists, providers, BHT’s, housekeeping, dietary, and support staff, every department plays a role in the care we provide to our community.

While not everyone is pictured, this accomplishment belongs to the entire Riverview team. Thank you all for your hard work, heart, and commitment to our patients each and every day.
