Riverview Behavioral Health Hospital

Riverview Behavioral Health Hospital Riverview Behavioral health is a full-service mental health treatment center in Texarkana that provides for adolescents, and adults.

Our main objective at Riverview is to always do what is best for the patient as well as their family. It is our intention to restore you to your highest level of functioning so you can return to your community and enjoy life. We focus on each individual as a whole, working with their problems within the broader scope of who they are as a person, their family and communities. This means each treatment plan is personalized to fit your specific needs. At Riverview we believe in making connections with you and any family members involved in your program plan. For individuals who have reached a stage that makes it no longer possible to be maintained in a home environment we work with families to provide education about possible alternatives and help them identify the best possible option to meet their loved ones need. We also understand how hard this decision can be and provide supportive therapy for families having difficulties transitioning loved ones into long term care.

Community education and open dialogue are essential in reducing stigma and helping individuals understand the mental health resources available to them. We’re proud to collaborate with organizations that support awareness, access, and connection.

TEXARKANA, Ark. -- Community members gathered Wednesday at the Rogers Recreation Center to hear from mental health leaders with Riverview Behavioral Health, who gave a presentation focused on the importance of mental wellness for both young people and older adults.
