Happy World Kindness Day! 💛

Today we had the joy of spreading kindness across Texarkana — visiting with our community and handing out little gifts to brighten someone’s day. Sometimes the smallest gesture can make the biggest difference. ✨

At Concho Hearts Hospice, we believe hospice care should always be entrusted to the kindest hearts and hands. It’s our mission to show compassion, comfort, and love in every moment.

🎉 Happy 55th Birthday, Mr. Zorn! 🎉

As you can see, Mr. Zorn wasn’t exactly amused when his favorite nurse and aide surprised him in bright orange with a Texas Longhorns cap for his birthday! Though their gesture was full of fun and love, he made it clear—he’s OU all the way! ❤️🤍

Moments like these remind us how laughter, friendship, and genuine care make every day special. We’re grateful to celebrate our patients not just for who they are, but for all the joy they bring to us in return.

This morning may have been chilly, but our hearts were warm as we joined local veterans at the VA Clinic.
We were honored to hear their stories and recognize their service with a heartfelt pinning for each Veteran .

✨🕳️ Down the Hospice Hole We Go! 🐇♥️🎩
Concho Hearts Hospice had an incredible time today at Avir at Citizen Trail Nursing & Rehab for their annual Trunk-or-Treat!

We brought a little magic from Alice in Wonderland to brighten up the day:

And guess what? We WON Best Booth! 🏆✨
A huge thank you to the staff, residents and families, who made today so special.

🇺🇸 Happy Labor Day from Concho Hearts Hospice 🇺🇸

Today, we pause to honor the American worker. The men and women whose dedication, skill, and perseverance have built the foundation of our country.

Labor Day was established in the late 1800s as a tribute to the strength, dignity, and achievements of our nation’s workforce. It reminds us of the progress made in ensuring fair working conditions, and it celebrates the incredible contributions of workers in every profession who keep our communities strong.

At Concho Hearts Hospice, we are especially grateful for the compassionate caregivers, nurses, social workers, aides, chaplains, and countless others who pour their hearts into serving patients and families every single day. Their labor is not just work; it’s a calling, and it makes a difference that lasts far beyond one day.

As we celebrate this holiday, may we reflect on the value of hard work, the gift of rest, and the importance of coming together as a community.

Shouting out the very best CNAs we know — Jennifer and Rachel 💜👏

These two amazing women are truly the heart of Concho Hearts Hospice 💖 They go above and beyond every single day. Their compassion. Their dedication. Their hard work. It never goes unnoticed 💪🌟

Jennifer has a way of making every patient feel seen and heard 🫶 She’s calm. Gentle. And always has a smile on her face 😊 Patients light up when she walks into the room. And we do too 💫

Rachel is just as incredible 💥 She gives her all with every visit. Always ready to lend a hand. Always putting others first. Her care is full of heart ❤️ And her energy lifts everyone up around her ☀️

They don’t just do their jobs. They live them. They love their patients. And it shows in every little thing they do 💯

This week we got to show them just a little of the love they show everyone else 💅 On Wednesday we pampered them with mani pedis 💖 And we can’t wait to sit down and enjoy lunch with them today 🍽️ The perfect way to end an awesome CNA Week 🎉
