Stacy, Cindy, & Courtnee had so much fun watching everyone show off their golfing skills, sipping on Arnold Palmers, and even stepping outside to hit a few balls!

Nothing better than smiles, laughter, and making memories together 💙

🦩 April is National Volunteer Month, and this day couldn’t have fit our mission any better! 💙

Our team loved spending time at Tyler ISD Career & Technology Center for Student Day, sharing just how meaningful it is to serve as a Heritage volunteer!

With 75+ booths full of opportunities, there was so much inspiration in one room 🥹

Shiann, our Volunteer Coordinator, Danica, Community Engagement Specialist, and Angie, our Hospice Branch Manager, had the best time representing Heritage. Angie even spent time talking with students about pursuing nursing and the many doors it can open.

And thanks to The Creature Teacher, they even got to hold a baby kangaroo! 🦘

Ms. Lila Martin’s wish was to get her dog Paco groomed, get herself dolled up, and take professional family portraits.

We are so incredibly grateful to Texarkana Magazine for sharing Lila Martin’s story and highlighting what the ✨Wishes by Heritage✨ program is truly about 🫶

This day was about about helping Lila feel like herself again. Making her feel beautiful. Surrounding her with the people she loves. Creating memories that will last far beyond a single day.

That’s what hospice is. It’s dignity. It’s compassion. It’s showing people they are SEEN, valued, and deeply loved in one of the most vulnerable seasons of life.

To our community partners, volunteers, and everyone who played a part in making Lila’s wish come true… THANK YOU!!! You didn’t just grant a wish… you created a moment her family will hold onto forever.
